Unmask Tech
Spot the fraud, Stay Secure

Scam Detection & Prevention Tools
Real-Time Scam Detection: Using machine learning algorithms, the software would scan incoming emails and messages for potential scam indicators. These could include phishing efforts, dubious links, and typical scam terms. By flagging these emails and alerting the user, it would help keep them from clicking on risky links or divulging private information.
Integration with phone networks to find dubious phone numbers that have been reported for fraud activities is known as caller ID scam detection. Before the user answers or calls back any detected scam numbers, this app would warn them.

Community Reporting and Alerts
Community Reporting: The app allows users to report suspected frauds, fake websites, or phone numbers directly. A community reporting function would generate a live database of known fraudsters that users could refer to before engaging with any suspicious content.
Real-Time Scam warnings: If a specific scam is found or reported in a community, the app will send real-time warnings to users in that area or around the world, warning them about the scam. This promotes a proactive anti-scam atmosphere.
Integrated with Local Authorities: The app would allow users to report significant scams directly to the appropriate authorities (e.g., local police, cybercrime units, consumer protection organizations). It could collaborate with the Nigerian Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and other international anti-fraud groups to streamline reporting.

AI Chatbot

AI Scam Advisor: The app would include an AI chatbot (Mr. Unmasked) that can assist users in identifying suspicious content, websites, and messages by interacting with the bot. Users can submit questions or queries about potential scams, and the AI will provide immediate feedback based on the context and data it has.
Automated Scam Checks: If users receive an unsolicited message, email, or phone, they can share or enter the information into the app, and the AI-powered system (Mr Unmasked) will scan it for red flags and provide a risk rating.

User Security and Data Protection
Encrypted Messaging: To safeguard user privacy, all communications, including those made through the app or while reporting frauds, are encrypted. This guarantees that during the reporting process, no private or sensitive information will be revealed.
Two-Factor Authentication: To increase security and safeguard user accounts against fraud, the application would employ two-factor authentication.
Partnerships with Banks & Telecoms: To establish safe avenues for detecting banking and telecom fraud, the app may work with financial institutions and telecom providers. The app might be integrated by banks into their security procedures to notify customers of any unusual activity in their accounts.
Global Cooperation: With multilingual support and tailored fraud protection features depending on local dangers, the software would be made for users worldwide.
